INTRODUCTION

This scholarship was generously created in memory of Peter Koppel. Professor Peter Koppel amassed 27 years of service to students and the academic community. These years were shared with his loving wife, Ann, where together they shaped the lives and had a lasting impact on thousands of students. Both Peter and Ann had a passion for a great number of causes through their involvement in the School, including student experience, leadership and participation, community engagement, personal and professional growth, and academic excellence. This scholarship will assist in attracting students that reflect these values to pursue a career at the Telfer School of Management.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Award a scholarship to a newly-admitted undergraduate student at the Telfer School of Management who has an admission average of at least 80 %.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;

2. be newly admitted and registered as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at the Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa; and

3. have an admission average of at least 80 %.

Note : The recipient will receive his/her scholarship once he/she is registered at the University of Ottawa.
