Rennie Regehr Admission Scholarship for Excellence in Viola
This scholarship was generously created by Mrs. Ann Frederking and Dr. Robert Frederking in honour of Professor Rennie Regehr, on the occasion of his retirement from the School of Music at the University of Ottawa.
PURPOSE OF FUND
Award a scholarship to a newly-admitted undergraduate student at the School of Music who plays the viola, and demonstrates outstanding potential as a performer.
The applicant must:
1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
2. be newly-admitted and registered as a full-time student in the BMus program at the School of Music of the University of Ottawa;
3. have an admission average of at least 80%;
4. play the viola; and
5. demonstrate outstanding potential as a performer.
