TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR AN ANNUAL FUND

NAME OF ANNUAL FUND

Ethel Ruth Snider Bursary

INTRODUCTION

This bursary was generously created by Grant Snider and his family. Mr. Snider had the privilege of completing his B.Mus degree from 1981 to 1985 at the University of Ottawa under such esteemed professors as James Morton, James Wegg, Andrew Tunis, Agnes Grossman and many others. During that time, he was fortunate to receive several bursaries for which he will always be grateful.

This bursary is offered in honour of his mother, Ethel Ruth Snider, who was an ardent music lover, a regular accompanist and choir member at the Elmira Mennonite Church and an active member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Philharmonic choir until her death from cancer in 1991.

Whether you are studying music as a career choice or to enrich your life, the Snider family hopes this modest contribution will be of assistance in completing your degree.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Financially support undergraduate students at the School of Music of the University of Ottawa.
