INTRODUCTION

This prize was generously created by the Department of History in honour and memory of Vasilis Vourkoutiotis, a professor at the Department of History who passed away in 2015.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Award a prize to the undergraduate student registered to a course at the Department of History who has submitted the best assignment in military history, as part of this course.

PRIZE DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;

2. be registered to an undergraduate program at the University of Ottawa;

3. be registered to a course with an HIS code; and

4. have submitted an assignment in military history as part of this course.
