Kevin Vollett Entrepreneurial Award
This award has been established at the Telfer School of Management in memory of Kevin Vollett by his family and friends. Kevin Vollett had just completed the first year of a B.Comm (Hons) at the University of Ottawa when he died at the age of 19 as a result of an accident in August 1993. His dedication and perseverance for success in the field of business was evident in every aspect of his life. Kevin Vollett held the position of Vice-President of External Affairs in the Entrepreneurs' Club.
PURPOSE OF FUND
To provide financial assistance to a student who has completed at least one year of full-time studies in the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree program at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and who has been actively involved in the Entrepreneurs' Club.
The applicant must:
- have completed at least one year of full-time studies in the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) program at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa;
- be registered in the second, third or fourth year of the program; and
- be an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Club

Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through https://scholarships.uottawa.ca, and should include a 250 word essay explaining the applicant’s involvement with the Entrepreneurial club and why he/she merit this award. This essay will be addressed to the President of the Entrepreneurial Club.
