Marie-Claire Guindon and Robert Major Fund

INTRODUCTION

This fund was generously created by Professor Robert Major, formerly Vice-President Academic and Provost (2001-2009) of the University of Ottawa, and professor at the Départment de français of the Faculty of Arts, and his wife, Marie-Claire Guindon.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Support a student in the School of Music majoring in vocal performance and demonstrating exceptional promise.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;

2. be registered as a full-time student in a program at the School of Music;

3. be majoring in vocal performance; and

4. demonstrate exceptional promise.

Value of the award: Minimum $1,000

Frequency of the award: Annual

Level or program of study: Undergraduate and graduate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

No application is necessary. All full-time students at the School of Music majoring in vocal performance are eligible.
