Rodrigue Pageau Scholarship

INTRODUCTION

The Rodrigue Pageau Scholarship was created by Rodrigue Pageau’s friends in order to preserve the legacy of Rodrigue and his commitment to serving his country.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Financially support students in the political science program at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;

2. be registered in 2nd or 3rd year of the political science program;

3. demonstrate academic excellence; and

4. demonstrate community involvement.

Value of the Award: Minimum $2,500

Number of Awards: Variable; preferably awarded as follows: on odd years, the scholarship is awarded to an Anglophone student; on even years, it is awarded to a Francophone student.

Frequency of the Award: Annual

Level of the Award: Undergraduate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through https://scholarships.uottawa.ca, and should include:

1. the Curriculum Vitae on Online Scholarships and Bursaries; and

2. a copy of the applicant’s high school transcript.
