Agathe Voyer Fund
Agathe Voyer, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts (B.A.) and of the Faculty of Administration (Cert. bus. adm.) of the University of Ottawa, has made her career at this institution. She started in 1967 as a secretary-clerk at the Purchasing Service. In 1969, she became academic assistant at the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, where she was promoted to administrative officer in 1972. In 1993, she moved on to become Executive Assistant, and was still in that position when this fund was created in the spring of 1997. The donor thanks the Alumni Association of the University of Ottawa and the Government of Ontario for their matching contributions.
PURPOSE OF FUND
To provide financial assistance to students registered in the Faculty of Law’s National Program (Civil Law or Common Law Section) and whose studies would otherwise be compromised.
The applicant must:
1. be registered full-time in the Faculty of Law’s National Program, Civil Law or Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa;
2. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules; and
3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa.
