Zaborski-Castonguay Scholarship

INTRODUCTION

This fund was created in honour of Bogdan Zaborski and Rachel Castonguay from the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics. Professor Bogdan Zaborski was the first chair of the Department of Geography, and Rachel Castonguay was a student at the Department of Geography who tragically passed away during her studies.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Financially support students at the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with the protected/refugee status;

2. be registered as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics of the Faculty of Arts;

3. demonstrate academic excellence;

4. be a resident of Ontario, as per OSAP [2] rules; and

5. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa.
