Thériault-Brillon Strings scholarship

INTRODUCTION

Sylvie Brillon and Louis Thériault, parents to a violinist, wish to encourage a student to pursue his/her dreams of having a career in music.

PURPOSE OF FUND

Award a scholarship to a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student of the BMus program at the School of Music whose instrument is a string instrument.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;

  2. be registered as a full-time student in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of the BMus program (string instrument) at the School of Music of the University of Ottawa; and

3. have a CGPA of at least 8.0.

Note : Preference will be given to students who take part in the OSO mentorship program.

Level or program of study: Undergraduate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

No application is required. All 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students in the BMus program whose instrument is a string instrument will be considered for this scholarship.
