Marc Infante Scholarship

INTRODUCTION

This scholarship was established by the Infante-Van Vlasselaer family in memory of Marc Infante (1945, Bougie, Algeria - 1993, Toulon, France), opera lover and connaisseur of the human voice. As the scholars sing, may this businessman of great artistic sensibility hear once again the music he loved. The donor thanks the Government of Ontario, which helped create this fund through its generous matching contributions.

PURPOSE OF FUND

To provide financial assistance to students registered in third or fourth year in the Bachelor of Music program, performance in voice, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ottawa and whose education would otherwise be compromised.
