NAC Music Bursary for

International Students

INTRODUCTION
The School of Music of the University of Ottawa is proud of its long-standing relationship with the National Arts Centre. Since the inception of the music program at the University of Ottawa, NACO players have taught performance students, and these teachers have become a significant part of University recruitment and training. This scholarship acknowledges the commitment to excellence in performance that both institutions share. The Faculty of Arts and the National Arts Centre are proud to join their efforts to support international music students.
 

PURPOSE OF THE FUND
To provide financial assistance to students of developing countries enrolled in the School of Music, and who would otherwise be unable to participate in the program for financial reasons.
 

BURSARY DETAILS
Eligibility criteria

The candidate must:
1. be registered, on a full-time basis, in a performance program of the School of Music;
2. be an international student from a developing country;
3. demonstrate promising talent in music; and
4. demonstrate academic excellence.

Value of the Award: $10,000

Number of Awards: One

Frequency of the Award: Annual

Level of the Award: Undergraduate and Graduate
