Ed Honeywell Scholarship for Classical Guitar

INTRODUCTION

This fund was established through the generosity of the Minto Group Foundation, in recognition of Ed Honeywell, a real estate lawyer who worked with Minto for 37 years. A passionate musician, Ed taught classical guitar at the University of Ottawa’s School of Music, and was a member of the executive of the Ottawa Guitar Society from 1970 to 1998.

PURPOSE OF FUND

To provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate guitar students in the School of Music.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be registered as a full-time student in the BMus or MMus in guitar at the School of Music in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ottawa; and

2. be in good academic standing.
