MIFO Scholarship

INTRODUCTION

This scholarship was generously created by the Mouvement d’implication francophone d’Orléans (MIFO).

PURPOSE OF FUND

Financially support Franco-Ontarian students who are registered to an undergraduate program in visual arts, music, theatre, cinema or études des francophonies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ottawa.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a person with the protected/refugee status;

2. be registered as a full-time student at the Faculty of Arts, to an undergraduate program in:

  • Visual arts (Department of Visual Arts);
  • Music (School of Music);
  • Theatre (Department of Theatre);
  • Cinema (Department of Communication); or
  • Études des francophonies (Institute of Canadian and Aboriginal Studies);

3. be a resident of Ontario, as per OSAP [1] rules;

4. be registered to a francophone program; and

5. be in good academic standing.

Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through www.uozone.uOttawa.ca, and should include a non-official copy of the applicant’s university transcript.
