INTRODUCTION

This fund was generously created by the Toth Family.   

PURPOSE OF FUND

To award a fellowship to a deserving graduate student at the Faculty of Medicine who is conducting research on Parkinson’s disease. 

FELLOWSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident;
  2. be registered as a full-time student in a thesis-based graduate program at the Faculty of Medicine;
    1. be conducting research on Parkinson’s disease; and
    2. demonstrate outstanding potential in their field of study.

Note: Preference will be given to applicants who are not be supported by a competitive external scholarship (e.g., from NSERC or OGS).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through the uoZone portal, and should include:
    1. the Curriculum Vitae on Online Scholarships and Bursaries;
    2. a one-page description of the applicant’s research on Parkinson’s disease; and
    3. two letters of reference.
