Dupuis-Archambault Mobility scholarship


Guy Dupuis is Program Director, World Wide IT Brand Focal in the Business Analytics division of IBM?s Software Group. He joined IBM via the acquisition of Cognos in 2008. Guy joined Cognos in 1981 where he occupied various positions in product engineering, product management and consulting. In 1999, Mr. Dupuis assumed the position Vice President, Product Services. From 1999 to 2008, Mr. Dupuis occupied various executive positions in the Products organization at Cognos.

From 2003-2009, Mr. Dupuis served as director on the board of La Cité collégiale, the largest French community college in Ontario. The last 3 years of his term were served as Board Chair. From 2004-2009, Mr. Dupuis also served as a director on the board of the Foundation of La Cité collégiale.

Mr. Dupuis received his Bachelor?s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Ottawa?s Telfer School of Management in 1980. In 2005, Mr. Dupuis was awarded the Telfer School of Management?s Trudeau Medal. The Trudeau Medal recognizes leadership, initiative and contributions to the business world, the community and their alma mater.

Monique Archambault also received her Bachelor?s degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa?s Telfer School of Management in 1989. She is a fundraising professional with experience working with the Ottawa Humane Society and currently in the Planned Giving Office of the University of Ottawa.

The donors are long-standing supporters of the University and their faculty alma mater. Created in June 2011, this is the second scholarship the couple has funded at the Telfer School of Management in support of deserving students.


To provide financial assistance to help offset travel expenses for students at the Telfer School of Management who distinguish themselves through academic merit and participate in the International Exchange Programs.


Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be registered as a full-time student in the Telfer School of Management at the University Ottawa;

2. participate in a Telfer School?s International Exchange Program;

3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa; and

4. have a CGPA of 7.0 or higher.
