Political Science Professors Scholarship

INTRODUCTION

This fund was established in 1998 by professors from the Department of Political Science (now the School of Political Studies).

The donors thank the Alumni Association of the University of Ottawa and the Government of Ontario for their contributions through their matching program.

PURPOSE OF FUND

To provide financial assistance to students from the School of Political Studies whose education would otherwise be compromised.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with the protected/refugee status;

2. be registered as a full-time student in an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral program at the School of Political Studies of the University of Ottawa;

3. be a resident of Ontario, as per OSAP [2] rules; and

4. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa.

Note: Preference will be given to female students.
