Admission scholarship – Master’s (1 year)
PURPOSE OF FUND
The Admission Scholarship for Master’s student is offered to newly admitted students at the Master’s level in some 1 year programs.
The applicant must:
1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or members of a diplomatic crops;
2. have a minimum admission GPA of at least of 8.0/10;
3. recommendation of the Academic Unit;
4. you must register full-time and maintain this status for the duration of the scholarship.
Value of the award: $7,500 ($2,500/session) and a minimum matching component of $7,500

Note 1: The minimum matching component of $7,500 per year is offered by the Academic Unit in form of Assistantships (TA’s or RA’s), internal scholarships or soft-funded bursaries. Several academic units offer more financial support than the minimum indicated.
Note 2: The following Master’s degrees of a professional nature, comprised for the most part of courses, are specifically excluded: Business Administration (MBA), Education (MEd), Engineering (MEng) and (MEng [Engineering Management]), Health Administration (MHA) and Conference Interpreting (MCI).
No application is required for this scholarship. If you are eligible you will automatically be considered for it at the time of admission and informed if you receive it.
